The winning couples in the Salon Tango category of the City Dance Championship, to be held from May 10 to 26 will represent the City of Buenos Aires in the tenth Dance World Cup taking place in August, this year. And the winners of Milonga Dancers of the World will represent this category in the semifinals of that competition. The qualifying rounds of the Championship will begin on Thursday, April 10, in the afternoon at Milonga El Arranque (barrio de San Nicolás) and at midnight at Tango Ideal (San Nicolás neighborhood), and run through Sunday, May 20, at El Pial (Flores) and Centro Cultural Julian Centeya (San Cristóbal). The semifinals will be held on Wednesday 23 at La Viruta (Palermo) and Thursday 24 at El Pial (Flores); and the couples qualifying at this stage will compete for the title on Saturday 26, in the afternoon, at Usina de las Ideas, in the historic neighborhood of La Boca. For this great final, tickets will be given out in advance on Friday, May 25 from noon to 5 p.m. at Casa de la Cultura (Av. De Mayo 575).
400 THOUSAND PEOPLE IN TWO UNFORGETTABLE WEEKS
